Sitting in the Pennine hills on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border, Barnoldswick is perfectly placed: only 9 miles from Skipton and about 10 miles from the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Cyclists and walkers are spoilt for choice, with Pennine cycle routes, bridleways and the iconic summit stretch of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal all passing through the town. The countryside here is truly special: heather‑clad Weets Hill offers what many call Britain’s best view, and the surrounding dales and becks lead you into peaceful limestone landscapes.
